Halla Mountain (한라산)

This fairy-tale sight of snowflakes and icicles covering tree branches on Halla Mountain were the inspiration for the Halla Snow pageant that was command late January/early Feb each year.

Unfortunately, the pageant was halted some years agone as a result of whenever they set a date it might rain and folks would get mad.

But the covered trees square measure still there, and you're welcome to travel sledding, snow rafting and ice slippery  on your own.
